PORTOLE is a 9 month project funded by JISC as part of the 'Linking Digital Libraries with Virtual Learning Environments' (07/02) Programme. The project started on 1st of October 2002 and is due to end 31st July 2003. The grant was awarded to the University Library, University of Leeds, which acts as lead institution for the project, in collaboration with the Resource Discovery Network (RDN), the Learning Development Unit (University of Leeds) and the University of Oxford.
