The New Digitizers is an interesting article about the increasing number of either amateur or professional scholars who becoming archivists/curators/creators of new digital collections, the implications of these collections (increased access, more pressing questions of scholarly quality, authority, and vetting) -- and I imagine, issues of methodology of the new media. I've wanted to help people build up personal collections, engage in oral histories, and pool those collections together. I hope that the
ScholarsBox will contribute to realizing such a vision.
