Over the years that I've had some sort of public writing space (first a weblog, then two, and then throw in this wiki), I've struggled to write every day. Not that daily writing is a cardinal virtue like brushing your teeth or telling your sweetheart that you love her or him -- but it does promote mental flexibility and health.

I aspire to write daily as ChrisAshley does. Maybe when I grow up, I'll be able to do so. So I try and I will likely fail once again. And when I pick myself up again, I'll want to say how hard it is to write every day.
