Bach by Hahn:
"I think some people want to say I specialize in Bach," a jet-lagged but cheery Hahn said by phone recently, having just returned to the United States from a European tour. The assumption might be supported by her numerous best-selling Bach recordings, the latest of which, released on Deutsche Grammophon in September, features Bach concertos.
"But I just really like Bach's music," she continues, "and so I keep rotating through it. What I find interesting about it is its effects on composers over the centuries. And his solo repertoire is advantageous for us, as violinists."
