I might want to implement a system as explained in Getting Things Done:
I'm planning to re-establish my Getting Things Done (GTD) toe-hold since the core of it is extremely useful. The virtues of GTD, properly practiced include:
-
being forced to explicitly make decisions on what to do and what not to do and externalizing those decisions.
-
counting the costs of wandering away from those decisions
-
keeping the number of projects down to something manageable. (If the representation of the decision points get out of hand, the projects themselves will most certainly also go haywire.)
