Return to a more focused Scholar's Box
I'm back (for now) to writing essays for the Scholar's Box Essay Series. This morning, I finished Return to a More Focused Scholar's Box.
I have also been thinking of about where to go next in my essay series, thoughts that I need to carry over to the next day.
Paul Graham
I'm about to walk over to the Engineering Library in search of
Hackers & painters : big ideas from the computer age / Paul Graham. Paul Graham has written a number of intriguing essays:
Later: alas, the book just arrived and is in the process of being catalogued.
On the walk back, though, I did learn about
Berkeley Institute of Design, which has some interest in EducationalTechnology.
Notelets
I'm tired of generating my own passwords for all those sites that demand a password. Now, I'm trying out
Nic Wolff's Password generator, which I learned from
Nic Wolff's single-signon bookmarklet. I just have to remember one master password.
Now that I've started to use del.icio.us, I would like some way to easily display the URLs I'm stuffing into del.icio.us on my own wikis/blogs. I might learn some hints from
Jeffrey Veen: The Easiest Way to Publish del.icio.us Links on Your Site, which points to
documentation on del.icio.us' API for HTML generation.
