Earning the Big Bucks (Not!) with Amazon's Mechanical Turk - O'Reilly Mac DevCenter Blog.

I've experimented with the system and certainly attest that it involves a lot of work for tiny amounts of cash. If I were to use it to get work done, how much responsibility do I have to pay a "living wage"? (I've wondered whether I could get people to reliably tag my Flickr photos.....) If someone like Alf Eaton, armed with his technical skills and native intelligence, could only earn $3-4/hour on MT, don't expect to earn much money as labor on MT!
